Beggars Can’t Be Choosers
If you need something and therefore you are asking someone for a favour, then you should be satisfied with what they give you, even if it is not exactly what you wanted.
This expression was first used by John Heywood in his book of proverbs in 1546.

chooser: a person who chooses or selects or who knows what he or she wants and will not go for anything else.
