Persecution Of Albinos
Albinism is a genetic condition causing white skin, light hair and vision problems.
People with albinism are called albinos and in some African countries they are persecuted and discriminated as albino body parts are believed to have magical powers.
There are 100,000 albinos in Tanzania who risk their lives almost every time they walk down the street.
A group of Tanzania’s albino men created a football club, which is called Albino United, in order to draw attention to the problem.
